Tarteel is a Naskh-inspired typeface rooted in the classical calligrapher’s pen, reinterpreting the Naskh voice with contemporary vigour. Its letters are structurally balanced, with lithe primary strokes and firm joins that give text a calm rhythmic cadence and excellent readability across long settings. The glyph system provides refined alternates and a considerate response to vocalisation and Qur’anic orthography, making it well suited to literary publications, distinctive typesetting and identity packaging. It supports Arabic and basic Latin for Levantine languages and is delivered as a static OTF family, helping designers and publishers achieve clear typographic gradation and balanced informational hierarchy.
